Open Door Productions has been providing quality sound effects and sound design services to the Video game Industry for over fifteen years and with more than 40 titles titles to its credit.

Utilizing our ever growing library of custom and licensed sound effects, location recording of new sounds and source material, and experience gathered over numerous projects we can provide effects for: in game effects, all level and interface sounds, as well as comprehensive sound design for cut scenes and cinematic sequences. 

In addition, our network and access to additional recording studios, contractors, voice over talent, dialog recording and editing, and other specialized audio production services allows us the flexibility to tailor a sound design package to meet our clients specific needs.

We work closely with developer and in-house audio teams to insure that their vision of the game's sound is realized with creativity, high production values, and is structured to meet their milestone deadlines and needs as a project evolves.

Several of our more recent Sound Design projects include:

bulletTony Hawk's Downhill Jam
bulletWe provided effects for all in-game, level, ambient and interface effects.  We also created musical content for all the location specific inter-level sequences as well as the music to the Game's Intro Cut Scene.  
bulletShrek Super Slam
bulletWe provided effects for in-game, level, and interface effects.  We also created content for all the cut scene and FMV sequences in the game, including hard effects, Foley effects, integration of source music, dialog content and final mixing.  We handled localization and mixing of the cut scenes into six different languages for final release of the game.
bulletMadagascar
bulletAn Activision release based on the popular movie.  We provided in-game, level, and interface effects.  Special effects for character moves and pickups, as well as requested elements for the cut scenes and FMV sequences in the game. 
bulletLord of the Rings "Return of the King".
bulletWorking closely with the In house audio team at Electronic Arts we were able to provide additional resources and sound design for the numerous in-game cinematics which were needed for release of the final title. 
bulletDisney's Extreme Skate Adventure.
bulletA skateboarding game based on the legendary Tony Hawke series, we provided in-game, level, and interface effects.  Special effects for character moves and pickups, as well as requested elements for the cut scenes and FMV sequences in the game.  We also provided several custom music compositions for levels and reward finales and fanfares.
bulletWhiplash
bulletA Crystal Dynamics/ Eidos release.  We provided high impact sound design for cut scenes and in- game cinematics.  We also provided additional effects for game play as requested by the audio and design teams.
bulletToeJam and Earl III- "Mission to Earth".
bulletA full sound design and music production based on the successful Toe Jam and Earl series.  We composed all music and created all sound effects for this game.  In addition we provided dialog services which included locating and hiring of voiceover talent, recording and editing of all dialog files.
